Laser Hair Removal
Laser Hair Removal means no more razors, no more waxing – you can now be ready to go at a minutes notice!
Laser hair removal means fast, reliable and permanent hair reduction. Our staff at Beam Me Up Laser Clinics are experienced therapists in using the medical grade Candela GentleLase Pro, which is the most efficient hair reduction system in the world. For smooth, ready to go skin all year round.
How laser hair removal works
The medical grade candela laser works by directing a concentrated light into the hair follicle which in turn inhibits the hair’s ability to grow. This is all done without disrupting or damaging the skin’s surface.
The actual lasers have a wide beam which means we can remove multiple hair follicles at the same time, making the whole process quick.
Before we begin your treatment with us we will discuss with you to determine your skin and hair type so that we can create a personalised treatment plan for you.
Benefits
Our laser hair removal technology is designed with sensitive skin in mind. We can target different skin types and is safe enough so it can be used on any part of the body. The lasers which we use feature a dynamic cooling device that helps to calm, soothe and protect the skin whilst ensuring maximum results.
The benefits of laser hair removal include:
- Permanent hair reduction
- Reduce ingrown hairs
- Convenient and cost-effective
- With every treatment, hair grows back thinner and lighter
When you begin your first session of laser hair removal treatment, we recommend approximately 10 treatments that are done every 4/6 weeks to achieve maximum results.
Preparation
- Shave the treatment area the night before your appointment.
- Do not wax in the 4 weeks before your appointment – this is because pigment is required in the hair follicle so the laser can identify the hair.
- Avoid direct sunlight on the treatment area for 2 weeks prior to your treatment
Aftercare
After your treatment you may experience some mild heat and redness in areas that have been treated. Soothe any redness and sensitivity with as this will continue to draw heat out of the skin and keep the area cool and hydrated.
For 24 hours post-treatment, avoid shaving, waxing or plucking hair, exfoliation, excessive sweating, swimming or saunas, very hot showers and tight restrictive clothing.
Avoid exposing the area to direct sunlight for 2 weeks after your treatment
